Winter, 2009
Dear Friends of Squeaky Clean:
2009 was a challenging year for many of us, but we’re relieved to report that our bookings held up OK. We’re all hoping for a brighter 2010.
We had good news that we will be returning to Theatre-By-The-Sea in Rhode Island again this summer. We performed there for many years, but had a hiatus when the theater was sold. We performed for the new owners in 2008, so we’re happy to be invited back.
But before that, our friends in South Jersey will have a chance to see us perform at Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theater on Sunday, February 7. We will be doing “Growing Up Sixties” for Act One and a concert for Act Two. For details, click here.
We recently got a DVD copy of our performance for His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj. The stage at York College (Queens) was beautifully decorated and it is quite surreal to see ourselves in this setting. We hope to post the clip to our YouTube page soon.
With the rousing success of our December “Mistletunes” show, we are launching a Valentines-themed show called “Valentunes.” We will feature songs like “You’ve Got A Friend In Me,’ “The Way You Do the Things You Do,” and “Build Me Up Buttercup.” Send us an email if you would like to book this new show.
