SQUEAKY CLEAN RELEASES NEW CD PROMOTING
SPIRIT OF UNITY, HEALING AND RECONCILIATION

The Queens, NY based rock and roll band SQUEAKY CLEAN, best known for their educational programs about the roots of rock & roll and the history of the 1960s and 1970s, has just released a new CD entitled “Pull Together.” The collection features many songs with a theme of unity, healing and reconciliation.
The CD seeks to re-create the positive energy of AM radio hits of the late 1960s and early 1970s, a time when America was deeply divided. Bassist Suzanne Smithline says “it was comforting to hear voices of calm and sanity on Top 40 Radio,” and the CD includes many such tunes:
Put A Little Love In Your Heart, Love Train and Lean On Me, among others.
There are also several songs that recognize that it takes work and dedication to make common cause with people you disagree with:
We Can Work It Out, Everyday People (“Different strokes for different folks...we’ve got to live together.”)
“Pull Together” is also the first SQUEAKY CLEAN release to include original material by Suzanne Smithline and guitarist Glenn Paul Manion since their debut record in 1984.

On May 5, 2005, “Pull Together” was cited as an “Exellent Product of 2005” by the iParenting Media Awards program. The program “connects parents and grandparents with the very best products in the market, ” according to Alvin All, CEO of iParenting Media.

The CD is available through CD baby (http://cdbaby.com/squeakyclean) or at the band’s website (http://www.gmfmusic.com)
