Dear Friends of Squeaky Clean:
Our summer concerts have been very rewarding so far. We had a great time at Alley Pond Park and were most gratified to entertain our neighbors in Queens at a public event. Our only appearance in Connecticut was last Thursday in Meriden, where we performed at a beautiful bandshell with excellent acoustics. Our show at the South Huntington Public Library was also a big success. They have an outdoor area that is a natural amphitheater. Addy has learned the Dave Brubeck classic “Take Five” and has been getting a well-deserved solo spot. Our concerts in Ridgewood, NJ (click here) and Manhasset, NY (click here) got nice press write-ups.
Still to come is a concert in Riverhead this Saturday, our annual Kiddie Concert in Westhampton Beach next Tuesday and, of course, Theatre-By-The-Sea at the end of the month.
We have a family day in West Caldwell, NJ in September. Newly added to our schedule is a two-day appearance at the annual Pumpkinfest in early October. Click here to go to our performance schedule.
Not to rush things, but we have new information available about our Holdiay show “Mistletunes” (named by Maureen at Enrichment Through The Arts in Staten Island). The show features mostly secular Holiday favorites, suitable for public schools with diverse populations. Maureen has booked this show for the College of Staten Island in early December.
